since people seem curious about it, this new Jumper game is one of 4 prototypes that @noelfb.bsky.social & I are developing, borne from wanting to get back to absolute basics and make something small and fun to make :) i'm not committing to finishing it yet, but I think it has a lot of potential!

another of the 4 prototypes is a re-exploration of the premise of Untitled Story (another of my old old games). The last 2 are new concepts. All 4 are built on our new in-house engine we're calling "Strawberry" :) so thats what we're working on these days

Last night I played a heavy, multi-hour, systems-y boardgame for the first time since having kids and it was a lot of fun. I'm so excited to get back into the hobby :) we played Arcs and it is very interesting & dynamic!

Something I have to reiterate is that you are being straight up lied to about trans people and our healthcare on an unfathomable scale, this instance reporting is already being torn to shreds by other people commenting, but the frequency of this kind of reporting is astonishing, it's neverending.
You might think from the headline that this is a story about a trans kid suffering medical consequences from a large drug dose but nope! It is just an interview with an estranged father who is angry that his child happily transitioned.

i grew up in Alberta 💔 I always knew it as a stunningly beautiful landscape full of the friendliest people, ruled by a dynasty of corrupt conservatives. but it feels like they're entering a new stage toward fascism with recent actions like this bill & the crushing of the teachers' union
Alberta just introduced Bill 9, which exists for one and only one purpose: deleting the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms as it pertains to trans kids, denying them the right to life and stripping their healthcare away.
This is cruel, anti-democratic and anti-constitutional.
