I need a signal account so I can keep track of what’s going.

Anyone have some classified DOD intel to share- apparently it’s what the cool kids do these days.

Since when did researchers try to create transgender mice?

Oh… transgenic. That darn teleprompter needs new batteries.

In other news, Trump proved why it’s not good to do an 8-ball before a speech.

Farmers… “bear with us” (Trump) while you lose your land and dignaty.

That way the wealthy can buy your land while you live in a single wide.

Farms are 0.12% of the voting population… and Trump cares nothing about your land or vote.

You get what you voted for…

Don’t do it again.

Trumps closing remarks…

I have no idea what I am saying. But it is our (rich folks) destiny to be great by preying upon Americans.

We will steal your wealth and this will be the golden age of Trump and Musk.
March 5, 2025 at 3:59 AM
If Trump has to explain his positions for 2 hours… it means his positions are practically irrelevant and indefensible.

Just keep rambling like my grandpa used to do when we were watching a Cubs or Braves game.

As long as you can molest women, that’s what remains in the hearts of Americans.

Trump is a meth head that once studied world history.

He got the Cliff Notes.

But then fell off a cliff and bumped his head.

Republicans clapping. Your time is short.

You think food prices are high now… you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Here come the Tariffs!
March 4, 2025 at 2:40 AM
Even the poll of polls is about to go negative for Trump…

Shocking…

Where do farmers/producers ultimately get their weather forecasts from?

NOAA.

Firing NOAA personnel reduces the precision and accuracy of forecasts, which will negatively impact farm productivity.

Idiotic.

How do we defeat the perils of the current administration.

We vote.

It is not difficult if you have a stake in the game.
March 2, 2025 at 3:34 AM
Let’s be real.

The Administration wants to erase institutional knowledge from the USD/ and other agencies.

Why?

Because it means there will be no accountability for major screw-ups.

The problem is that the people have caught on.

Time is the ultimate equalizer and Trumps time is limited.

Remarkable: Trump's own pollster just found that in swing House districts, Dems lead by 5 points and voters want tax policy to prioritize working people, per Politico.

Yet GOP is about to brutally slash the safety net and give the rich huge tax cuts!

Trump’s Own Pollster Just Hit Him with Very Bad News—and a Warning
A poll of swing-district voters is already showing heaps of warning signs for Republicans bent on helping billionaires. That was fast.

Did you know that honeybee colony collapse disorder has spiked over the winter of 2024-25? Particularly in commercial beekeeping operations with more than 1,000 colonies.

While some universities have research ongoing, USDA leads research in this effort.

No bees = lower yields = higher food prices

Brooke Rollins, said on Feb. 14 that her agency had invited Elon Musk’s DOGE team with “open arms” and that layoffs “will be forthcoming.”

More than 10,000 workers have been fired that cut across the agency from farm loan programs to food safety.

It’s not going to be pretty when folks start dying

Not surprising but still very interesting the speed at which Trump’s favorability is plummeting.

Trump says Ukraine should have never started the war.

Hard stop.

Wheat prices globally plummeted when the war started. Why?

Because Ukraine wheat production was down 33%. Manufacturers of food products pivoted to “recipes” that did not include wheat.

U.S. producers got hammered.

Shocking?

17% of the US agricultural workforce is legally in the U.S. on H2A visas. Most work in “Specialty Crops” (including fruit, vegetable, ornamental production) or intensive animal agriculture (primarily meat processing).

What happens when DHS cuts the number of visas?

Food prices increase.

Approximately 15% of oil consumed in the U.S. comes from Canada with another 8% from Mexico.

Given proposed tariffs, this would result in an increase in gas (87-octane) of about $1/gallon. Off-road diesel would increase by about $1.33/gallon.

Great news for consumers!

USDA funding represents 3.1% of total discretionary funds appropriated by the federal government. Agriculture as a percentage of GDP was 5.5% before processing.

In other words… Agriculture is underfunded.

More on this to come…
February 9, 2025 at 4:18 AM
Approximately 60% of the U.S. discretionary spending budget annually is earmarked for the Department of Defense.

When will this be addressed by DOGE & Trump? Seems logical that some serious savings are available in the DoD budget…

It’s a shame that Americans (like my parents) that came of age in the 1960’s aren’t raising hell right now.

I guess that generation isn’t as steadfast in their beliefs as once observed.

It’s quite ironic that farmers and rural Americans voted overwhelmingly for Trump.

Trump will be their downfall - if they fiscally survive the next 4 years.

And who will buy up the land when farms foreclose?

The uber-wealthy… that’s who.

You got played when it comes to the ultimate game.
February 7, 2025 at 1:59 AM
USAID purchased over $2 billion dollars of agricultural commodities from American farmers annually.

That’s $2 billion dollars that will now cease to flow to rural economies across America.

It’s also going to increase supply that will lower farm income.

You get what you vote for...
