When I say I'm holding my horses, understand that what I'm *actually* holding is a whole damn 20-mule team with 19,841 lbs. on the line, and proceed to respond accordingly.

Operation Make A Clothing is complete! 😂

Last year at the fiber fair bff and I, both casual crocheters, were jelly of all the folx wearing their creations. So let's do it! I challenged. I made the Jewel Box Shell by Kristen Clay in colorway 7 Years by Wildstar Fibers.

Two skeins of yarn in a box. It's dark blue mixed with purple which pales to almost white.

My finished top laid out. The colorway worked up so that the bits of blue are fairly uniformly spaced, giving sort of vertical bands. Because its literally just two squares sewn together there's not much shape, but you can see the stitching.

I'm holding the phone up and taking a selfie so that you can see the top. There are cute silver buttons along my shoulder, and I sized it to be fitted rather than loose. I am smiling up at the camera and giving thumbs up. I'm a middle aged white woman who can still pass for 35 and I'm wearing glasses.
