I am doing a survey to gather people’s experiences of receiving Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Adult Disability Payment
(ADP) to highlight the impact that disability benefits can have on the wellbeing of disabled people.

It’s officially (almost) the end of the week and the survey has had 99 responses already. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared and/or filled it out. Shows how important this is! #PIP #DisabilityRights

Also to add no contact details that are given to me will be shared with anyone else. The research information on the survey also gives all the details about how data will be stored and secured.

They will be! It is an anonymous survey with the option to add an email address at the end if someone wishes to hear about findings/new research. Any details that people give that could identify them will also be removed before anything is shared or written up.

This is a fantastic look into what’s going on with increased PIP claimants. The ‘problem’ really is greater poverty and need rather than ineligible people giving a claim a go and getting through by hook.

Today, alongside DPAC, Scope and Rethink Mental Illness, we gave evidence at a Work and Pensions Select Committee on the impact of the proposed Green Paper cuts.

We were unequivocal: these cuts will lead to more deaths.
