Well that rabbitholed me - “Designed by the London, Midland and Scottish Railway…” Wondered what a railway company was doing designing (duff) tanks, and then amazed by the opening of the LMS Wikipedia page “the company was also the largest commercial enterprise in the British Empire”.

I’ve read plenty about The Beatles, but for some reason hadn’t picked up on the recording of this song until a couple of months ago, and it blew me away - insane to be effectively live-mixing pre-recorded loops, tensioned by guys holding pencils…

It’s got a pretty good point halfway to break - I watched it with the kids, but we did it over a couple of nights and it was fine.
