Imagine how mad he’ll be when we get it passed. Make your voice heard and demand that Congress vote yes on this as soon as they come back:

SNAP is a lifeline for workers in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

Today, French lawmakers unanimously approved a bill exonerating women punished for abortion before it was legalized in 1975.
This "is an act of justice toward those thousands of lives shattered by unjust laws," said Aurore Bergé, minister-delegate for gender equality.

ProPublica identified 17 people who each shielded at least $1 billion in capital gains from the so-called Net Investment Income Tax.

Together, this small group, by collectively exempting more than $35 billion, saved about $1.3 billion in taxes.

How Billionaires Sidestepped a Tax Aimed at the Rich
Wall Street financiers were a clear target of the tax, but some, on questionable legal grounds, have claimed their outsized profits were exempt, sometimes avoiding hundreds of millions in taxes.
