I don't know what will transpire from this, but this is the program I've been using to develop better reverbs for years now, and now that I've got 6x6 verbs happening I see no reason why others shouldn't make these too. Here's the info on how to do them.

Tada! Now I have a 'mix check' speaker which uses a very decent Class D tiny amp and decent battery charging and volume controls, but it drives a real Auratone (the reissue, not a vintage one) with the mono signal you'd want to use. Very convenient, and it'll do Bluetooth if you want, too :)

Solder the wires together and put shrink-tubing on to prevent anything shorting, and drill holes in the awful-speaker, which is a tenth the cost of the Auratone. Save the back plate off the Auratone just in case, reuse the screw holes for the bigger screws so you could put it all back if needed.

Once you take the grille off you can get at the tiny screws, and get the speaker top off the (intact) electronics. The big drywall screws are for holding that part on firmly.

I needed to make a new track for tomorrow's plugin video so instead I combined Venus Theory's awful-speaker with the classic Auratone so it's as convenient to use as Venus's tiny portable speaker is :)

Funny you should mention it: it's been years I've been trying to get this together, and one direction I explored was brushed aluminum cases, painted and lacquered. No knobs or internal trimpots, just a nice footswitch, and the rest like this. Technically it's grey! Working on the brushed look.

Heard back from Mateo at Yaeltex! He was just on vacation :) expect my control surface to be available soon, plus the mini version! I'm enjoying mine. I paid full retail and get nothing from these, I just designed my ConsoleX dream control surface. This (color not included)

I still have eggs! This time I added a mini croissant toasted at the same time as finishing the omelet. A store I go to in Keene sometimes has incredibly good croissants :) boursin cheese makes it a teeny sammich!

Made like Julia Child will teach you, in the flippity style without any spatula or anything like that. I can tell how I'm doing by how well the omelet comes out, it rarely comes out terrible so it's 'how best to make the perfect little oval shape'.

Title suggestions are definitive buzzfeed-grade clickbait. This is probably the most effective area as they can both evaluate all of YouTube for these… AND promote videos based on whether they resemble this sort of thing.
