Next up in the tour of the world is the Republic of the Congo! 🇨🇬🇨🇬🇨🇬🇨🇬 The only thing I know about this country is that it’s not the Dem. Rep. of the Congo. So I’m excited to learn a bit more. The book I’ve picked is ‘In the Forest of No Joy’ by JP Daughton.

Just finished ‘The Sex Lives of Cannibals’ for my #booksky trip around the world. Kiribati 🇰🇮 seems like it would be a very challenging place for me to live. The stories were definitely interesting. 1/2

Ok #booksky now that Christmas is over and I’m caught up on my podcasts back to the tour of the world! Still in Kiribati 🇰🇮 should finish the book today (or tomorrow). So far it’s not a book I would normally read. But if you like travel books this may be good for you.

Ok #booksky I need help with a country already. Does anyone have a recommendation for Lichtenstein? It can be fiction or nonfiction. I’m looking for a book set in the country or the author is from there. Really anything will help!

As the holidays approach, this is a powerful reminder: no enemy can steal Ukrainian traditions. Thank you to our defenders for this moving performance.
