London is meeting legal limits for toxic NO2 pollution for the first time – almost 200 years earlier than predicted – following the Mayor’s "world leading air pollution policies," City Hall announces.

The Ultra Low Emissions Zone - and similar policies - really do work.

I find it odd that "supporting Ukraine" means giving them tens of billions in military aid and equipment "until they win completely"

but "supporting Palestine" means condemning Hamas, giving them no military aid or equipment at all "to secure a two state solution" that's impossible on the ground...

It isn't international law which is the issue. It is politicians like Starmer demonising migrants and stripping them off rights.

When you start talking about reducing access to rights for one group you open the door for someone else to end them for others.

A beautiful evening to head out on a wander. This route between Berkeley church and the village of Newport is quite possibly the same one referred to as “le Churchewey” in a charter of 1317. Amazing to think that people may have been walking on this path for over 700 years.
