Call me Andrea Dworkin, but I just think it’s corrosive that there are quite so many references to sexual acts in the British right’s response to this deal.
Entirely predictable reaction from Britain's maga media. But makes you think, if they were going to react like this anyway what was the cost to Starmer of going bigger.

The unbelievable condescension we’re already seeing today towards working class people- suggesting they don’t travel to Europe or their kids might not want to go to university and study in Europe- is quite something to behold.

Today's agreement with the #EU is not a betrayal as our ever more headline hungry media is reporting, but level headed economic sense. Above all, it resets vital relations with our key trading and security partner - much needed in this evolving global landscape. Congratulations to #UK and EU.

An interesting recap on the history of the current situation in Ukraine. This should be a lesson for the rest of the world.
This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

1. A few years ago, people like me were widely attacked in the media for “declinism”. How could we fail to see that we were heading into a capitalist utopia, in which everything would keep getting better?
This is a thread about what we could see that our critics could not. 🧵

Yes, exactly this. Well said Mr Davey, well said.
If Ukraine is forced to surrender its sovereign territory to Russia, it will be the greatest betrayal of a European ally since Poland in 1945.

The UK must lead in Europe in defence of Ukraine. We cannot stand back and watch as Zelensky is bullied by Trump.

…and that is why the EU, UK and Europe as a whole need to keep their focus on citizens, consumer rights, standards and quality.

This is what the EU has been doing best - standing up to big tech. Repeatedly.

We should be rejoining the EU and joining that effort.

I can see a real flaw in the Musk/Cummings axis.
Most people hate Dominic Cummings almost as much as they hate Elon Musk.
There is a HUGE space in the centre and centre left right now for any politician who doesn't want to chase the Brexiteer/racist vote but instead, pay attention to the rest of us.
