Definitely wasn't perfect — my wife and I have been chatting all night about what worked and what fell for short and some of the more annoying implications — but it's haunting and hit hard.

i think there are hack jokes about reading at bars and restaurant being performative but honestly i'm jealous of the dude reading with the dog -- my 11-month-old puppy needs too much attention for that.
