The UK asylum system is in crisis and we have called for measures to clear the backlog of cases.

But the Conservatives should have shown some humility for having created that crisis before trying to scapegoat asylum seekers with their motion in parliament this afternoon.

Farmers find it endlessly frustrating to lose valuable gear like GPS units.

We have called for an increasing emphasis on rural crime, ensuring that people have access to local officers no matter where they live.

In the budget, Scottish Liberal Democrats secured £4.5m for specialist long Covid support.

For years long Covid sufferers would have been better off moving to England due to the lack of support in Scotland, with this new funding I am hopeful we can begin to turn the corner.
