last effort: I run a baseball site with some of my best, smartest, and most talented friends. we do fun and engaging work all year long, and it's about to get more expensive to read that work as of 1/1. I'd much rather you get in the door as cheap as possible. It also makes for a great gift:

have to say that i’m not really a fan of the annual 60 mph wind storms

doug christie’s inability to run even a three-guard rotation is really strange. lavine goes out with injury and all of a sudden keon and malik combine for 10 minutes played. how. injury is supposed to open up opportunities

I was hoping that Keller got a chance to start somewhere

this got my hopes up for a moment but why would star trek academy have a villain. they’re just a bunch of cadets, the stakes can’t reasonably be that high
i expected giamatti to be like oh sure i watched TOS as a kid with my dad, fun show. nope! he's a fucking real one, DS9 is his favorite series, sisko his favorite captain, and he shouts out admiration for colm meaney's performance specifically. One Of Us

sadly because zerpa's entire gameplan is ground balls (5th best, min. 60 ip) and called strikes (3rd best), i have to say he's a future all-star
December 14, 2025 at 12:13 AM
i wrote part of a 2023 bsb about how angel zerpa at the time had the worst k/9 since 2014. it was like 3.4 for in 30 innings. i guess he'd good now or whatever

Josiah Gray has one of my favorite player pages in that he is absolutely terrible every year but within a very small range of badness, such that they keep him around

Good player. Strange to me that no one above them claimed him, much better than Justin Dean, for example

Caraballo is kind of a crazy get for a Rule 5 draft favor

if i had to give one piece of advice to others it would be do not make your literature review 50+ pages. it’s entirely unnecessary and no one else cares that much

hey everyone, today we're announcing something at BP that is both long overdue and something I wish we could keep holding off on, but the reality is we can't: a price change to our subscription.

We'll continue to provide one of the best value props out there, and keep earning your support.

Chris Paul and his leadership style clashed with the Clippers, sources tell ESPN. Paul has been vocal in holding management, coaches and players accountable, which the team felt became disruptive. Specifically: Ty Lue was not on speaking terms with Paul for several weeks.

i dont think any of the blue jays starters are great but having 5 3’s is pretty good. certainly better than career 4th-starter zac gallen and 56 year old max scherzer

lavine running away from bouyea to leave him wide open lmao

newcomb looked really good in triple-a for the giants in '23 with a new sinker + harder curve. he was traded to the a's in august and they immediately shelved those changes but i'm not surprised he worked his way back to those pitches and had success

an awfully big contract for an awful player; makes sense to me

2026 rangers will be a great test for how much arm strength actually matters. because wow do they have none of it

Thinking about when Giants fan sites went wild over Gregory Santos’ one year in Chicago and the Prelander Berroa trade. Still surprised Santos got non-tendered I guess
