i know recently there's been a push to point out that when Fukuyama talked about "the end of history" he didn't mean it the way people have generally interpreted it. i think this is a sign that we should just go back to calling him a dummy.

A chance find in the library, I am loving this book, 'The citadel' about a GP in Welsh mining town.
The book in part inspired the NHS, published in the late 1930.
My friends the doctors will have much to sympathise with the main character.
I also think it would make great A level or above material.

New sause unlocked: fishy zesty mayo. Add Achovies with olive oil, lemon juice and lemon zest to a classic mayo (egg yolk, rapeseed oil, mustard, salt and pepper).
It really elevates the salty umami flavour of food.
Here served on a pomegranate and pickle coleslaw, and some curried shrip.
