Um, ICE just coldly shot an unarmed PRIEST in the head w a pepper ball when he (and everyone around him) clearly posed no threat.

For the crime of … complaining about government policy.

Core 1A speech.

With cameras rolling, they’re sniping priests for sport.

Here’s video of the incident

@cgiardinelli.bsky.social and I tried to see if they’d talk with us as the instagrammers went by in Noem’s convoy as they all left:

Among protestors outside ICE facility Noem is visiting in Portland is Oregon Guard veteran Noah Mrowczynski:
“I'm a combat veteran, a veteran who fought real wars against real terrorists. Not this so-called insurrection and so-called terrorists Trump would have you believe we are in Portland.”

Also, you'll see this is a screenshot by a video from a guy named David Medina. Medina was convicted for his role in the Jan. 6 insurrection and was later pardoned by Trump. He has since rebranded himself as a Trump-aligned social media influencer.

David Medina, texting to a friend from DC on 12/12/2020. “The proud boys are currently beating the fuck out of BLM right now in DC so that kinda gives me hope.”

Medina was charged by the DOJ for his actions in DC on January 6.

Meanwhile Noem allowed local social media streamer David Medina to ride in with her.

Noem appears to have arrived? Not sure how long we’ll be blocked from the street outside ICE processing facility. I can say unequivocally she did not witness anything she claims is happening at this facility, as she entered the facility…

Update: they are praying and eating Burgerville

Noem has with her right-wing social media personalities David Medina, Benny Johnson and Nick Sortor (who was arrested for fighting outside the ICE facility, Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office not pursuing charges). No news conference or opportunity for press to ask questions.

Ahead of Homeland Security Sec. Kristi Noem’s expected visit to the Portland ICE facility, a small protest crowd and a catchy song with the lyrics “Trump is in the Epstein files (yes he is).”

Taxpayers on the hook for massive price of National Guard mobilizations: “estimated $10 million if the 200 Oregon National Guard members are allowed to deploy to Portland for 60 days, and $134 million for the California National Guard members mobilized since June.”

"An unnamed Pentagon spokesperson did not answer questions about whether any Texas Guard troops had been deployed to Oregon since Hegseth announced they’d be federalized Sunday night or how many of the California Guard troops federalized Saturday by Trump were yet in Oregon."

Legal limbo meaning they are waiting on courts to decide. Presumably Trump admin will challenge TRO issued Sunday. Hasn't happened yet. As to your other questions:

1) Re-upping this given what's happened in recent days. Still think it's wild that Mason called Trump's threats to use U.S. cities as training grounds for military "a throw away line."
2) Neither Trump nor anyone in his administration have tried to talk w/ Oregon's Gov. today, her office said.

Nearly drove off the road when Dave Miller asks Dan Mason, National Committeeman for Oregon Republican Party, what he thinks of Trump recently saying he wants to use US cities as training grounds for military troops. “I think it’s a throw away line,” Mason said.
