Central Asia is adapting its entire ideological agenda to impress one man: Donald Trump.

The recent C5+1 summit was a new high point in US-Central Asian ties. But is this rapprochement real, or just risk? 🧵🧵🧵

I'm sickened that the government voted CETA through at 1am last night. It's an anti-people, pro-corporation deal that allows Canadian investment companies to sue us, the Irish people. So a Canadian company can buy up housing & sue the Irish state if we introduce rent controls. #Speirgorm #Speirgorm

.... as soon as the Nazis took power in Germany, they started increasing military expenditures. There is nothing especially Nazi in this. It is a constant that states facing economic troubles try to solve them by using military force. It never works.

O'Donavan is on record as being lobbied by META. It's highly alarming lobbyists have so much power over our Ministers.

Scandalously at 1am, the government has just pushed through a law with far reaching ramifications.

It allows them to sign up to a parallel court process only accessible by corporations. There they can sue Ireland if we do anything to interfere with their "right" to profit.
