Queer activists focus too much on the “born this way” argument instead of the wider liberation argument.

Who cares if being queer is inherent or not? If they’re not hurting anyone, let people live their lives with agency and dignity.

Every human deserves the same basic rights. Yes even that one.

This makes a lot of sense! Cars & trucks are top contributors to air pollution, so people who can walk most places don’t need to drive as much. Plus urban areas built near transit means even longer trips don’t require a car.
