Just finished Avowed. It's a B game, but I think that's fine! It's beautiful and the combat is fun. Not every game has to be a 100 hour epic.

That #WhiteLotus season was just not very good TV. Story lines were all over the place, motivations unclear and resolutions unsatisfying. I still love the premise, but it needs to be tightened back up in season 4.

This was a super interesting video, but I think it fails to hit the real issue.. AAA developers are spending way too much to make the same boring games. Elden Ring and BG3 had big budgets, but they delivered a special experience and were rewarded with money.

I finished #Metaphor: ReFantazio. After 100+ hours, I'm struggling to figure out what I liked most. Then it dawned on me: it's what I wish for modern Pokemon. Good story, simple yet complex battle dynamics and genuine discovery. Switch Archetypes for Pokemon and you're basically there.
