caught the end of the Wizard of Oz on my parents' 4k television last night and I've never been more certain that 1080p is the paramount at-home viewing experience. (in-theater: a tie between 35mm and 70mm.) the emerald city looked like a green screen backdrop. the scarecrow's face was all makeup.
