If S Korea has its second impeachment of a President in 8 years, well, that’ll be showing the world how it can be done
There’s really no coming back from this. He can’t rebuild trust with the South Korean public - and his own party leadership - after this. Protests are already calling for him to resign. I’m sure calls for impeachment will resume in force as well. It seems a matter of time now.
BREAKING: South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol says he has ordered the withdrawal of troops and will formally lift the martial law.

For all the positives people are seeing in what played out in S Korea today, never forget the nutbag President Yoon got elected into power on an openly misogynist and queerphobic campaign & policies.
South Korea’s largest LGBTQ coalition group, Rainbow Action, issued a statement demanding President Yoon’s resignation:
“The Yoon administration, which has driven the rollback of gender equality and incited hatred against sexual minorities, has orchestrated its downfall by declaring martial law.”

PSA: the CDC has a program that pays for your COVID vaccine if your insurer won't. The guy at CVS told me that my insurer had not added the new vaccine to its formulary yet, so I'd need to pay $190. I told him about this program, showed him the website, and paid nothing. 🤗

yall can go ahead and block all the followers of these two accs. one of their followers already went after leebbee accusing them of nonsense. its just another thing to direct harassment. they only added two sexual harassers at the last minute for a bit of legitimacy
This is the @goosewatch.geese.lol support account.

While goosewatch itself will eventually offer automated self-help features, this is the primary, human-monitored support and dispute resolution account for goosewatch.

It is recommended against blocking this account.

So tonight AMPTP broke media blackout to leak an “offer” they made to WGA after our leadership refused a stern lecture from Iger, Zaslav & Sarandos that had holes you could drive their yachts through. Ended up exposing they fully intend to use AI to write & develop scripts. The entitlement is nuts.

Between this and United auto workers proposing a four-day week for 150,000 workers I think we might really be on the cusp of something beautiful.
A bill to create a 4-day work week is about to be introduced in the Pennsylvania legislature.

Companies with more than 500 workers would have to shorten their week to 32 hours, without reducing pay.

Recent polling shows that 81% of workers nationwide want a four-day week.
