Aliara never fails to blame herself and insist on holding herself responsible. It's both to protect others from blame as well as the illusion of control because if she can convince herself that she's to blame then it means she can fix/improve herself to prevent [thing] happening again.

I need everyone to understand the XIV writers gave me the Christmas present I wasn't expecting.
For *years* I've been HC'ing and writing Halmarut as having bright red hair, green eyes, pale-ish skin. I've been writing her with glasses, with shy, panicked lesbian vibes. ---

Aliara becomes invested easily. Hearing how invested others are, witnessing circumstances for herself do increase her own investment, personally caring for those involved does as well. And even in forced circumstances, she'd try to see beyond that factor to figure out if she can help.

I'm so messy today. I ran into PvP and ended up naked when swapping to SCH, I burnt my dinner, I got names messed up, I ran the coffee machine without putting my mug under it, and I just dried to drink my bottle of nail polish remover instead of my bottle of water

RE: OC stuff, I do still have the urge to hide Ali away because I have a difficult relationship with con-crit, silence, or even the odd question instead landing me with a sense of rejection, shame, wrongness etc. even when it's not meant as such. Sharing her is scary, I don't want to be hurt. 🥺🌼

RE: OC stuff, I do still have the urge to hide Ali away because I have a difficult relationship with con-crit, silence, or even the odd question instead landing me with a sense of rejection, shame, wrongness etc. even when it's not meant as such. Sharing her is scary, I don't want to be hurt. 🥺🌼
I will actively cry. Or when someone sees something that reminds them of my writing and/or characters like "you actually see me? you took notice? you heard and listened...?". It's one of the rarest gifts and I treasure those moments 💖
idk if this is a shared experience, but i always feel like ugly crying when someone remembers any fact about my oc. you mean my yapping wasn't just me spewing crazy nonsense into the void? you actually read that and kept it in your mind...? bro...
