I used to boat out of Newport Harbor. This was the landmark we aimed for navigating into the harbor. Mt. Baldy.
My geographic mistake! These are the San Gabriel Mountains on the border of Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties! San Jacinto is much further south of here. 😳
