We knew she was a centrist, but... wow.
No, @slotkin.senate.gov — Dems shouldn’t stop using the term “oligarchy”. They should make it a household term. And they should be wary of anyone telling them otherwise.

People know what it means. And if they don’t, tell them. That’s what leaders do.

Big thanks to all the All In for Isabella County members and friends who have supported our district in this fight. Never forget that we are stronger together.
My district has—allegedly—been reported to the DoE through the EndDEI snitch line. Since that was reported in The Detroit News, we’ve been under pressure to rescind our policy outlining the rights of trans students in our schools. We have not done that, and I am so proud of us for holding the line.

Four Michigan schools have been reported to the Department of Education for refusing to comply with Trump’s EO about gender. My district is one of those districts. I am a school board trustee in my district. I guess we’ve moved on from the “in advance” part of “don’t comply in advance.”
Buss: Michigan school districts buck Trump's directives at their own risk
Complaints have been filed against four Michigan public school districts alleging their policies on gender identity violate Title IX.

Trump wants to gut the healthcare that 2.1 Michiganders rely on, including 961,000 Michigan kids. Why? So he can give a $4.5 trillion tax cut to his big donors like Elon Musk.
Peters: Protecting Medicaid protects Michigan
Medicaid is a cornerstone of our healthcare system and keeps people healthy at every stage of life.

One in three federal workers is a veteran, and thousands more are military spouses. Musk isn't really rooting out any fraud or waste, but he is taking a sledgehammer to military families.

The Trump administration’s swift, sweeping cuts to the federal workforce is set to derail the livelihoods of potentially thousands of military families.

I am not a lawyer. However, if I understand correctly, when a judge looks at an executive order they are assessing whether it’s constitutional and enforceable. It seems to me that Judge Abelson is say that Ending Radical And Wasteful Government DEI Programs And Preferencing is neither.
