Aw thanks Marc! It's been a bit rough and I've yet not been able to get a doctor after months. I'm going to visit my brother and family in south England next week tho, and going trick or treating with the nieces, so that'll be fun I think!

I love your post-its thumbnails so much and I'm not sure I ever said this but they were something so very useful that I learned from you! When I did comics in the past and found myself lost in the layouts, moving that initial process to post-its was such a life saver 😊

Chuckling at this glow up from initial expression idea to polishing it up with a couple of reference photos of Hayden. I knew there were things that needed fixing, but the contrast between the two amuses me still 😆

Work in progress of an Anakin Skywalker digital portrait painting. This is an early version of the work and the artist's intent is to show some anatomy and other details that still need to be addressed, as well as the lack of likeness to Hayden Christensen, the actor who plays Anakin in the Star Wars movies.

The painting is monochromatic where various shades of the same colour are used. In this case, Anakin is lit under a red light reflecting his anguish, as he looks past the viewer almost emotionless.

Was this part of your designs for Isolation? It looks so good either way!! I do enjoy when the xenos run around in all fours like creatures, but god do I love when they stand up right; something familiar but still so strange and freakish.. the absolute best!
