I think that's what the National Governor's Association was about. He tried to get them to stand up first.

I am probably jinxing George the Wonder Prius, our 12-year-old hybrid, by posting this, but other than scheduled maintenance, it's been a worry-free car. The mechanic who works on it says he regularly sees them with 250K miles and no problems.

Reporters get promoted to editor all the time even though they're completely different skill sets, and the thing that makes you great at the former (stubbornness, curiosity, a relentless need to pick at shit that doesn't make sense) can make you SUCK at the latter.

She already got paid, and she's not going to be motivated to do this at all. Endless meetings, constantly being bothered with stuff, and at first people will expect things to her! She'll have to moderate disputes between journalists which is hell on earth for people who LIKE journalists!
