An immigration judge denied Idris bond this morning during a bond hearing in San Diego fed immigration court.
He fled religious persecution in Turkey. Then he got a one-day notice for an ICE check-in. Now he’s being detained at Otay.
When he was held overnight in the basement of the San Diego federal courthouse, he told his wife he could hear babies crying through the night.
