I guess the “reward” of getting a bye is the worst thing that could happen to a football team.
Maybe if the bye was 1 week instead of 4.
The CFP schedule is just horrendous.
If I’m a team in the top 4, I might be “losing” one on purpose to avoid the bye and get a home game
