Long paddle this morning, our turnaround was Diamond Head buoy. Amid the wind & swells we floated for a few minutes to catch our breath.
Earth is staggeringly beautiful.
We have done nothing to "deserve" it, nor do we own "dominion" over it. We are inextricably part of it. Caretakers, if we choose.

Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.

My grandparents were natural born German citizens. Until they weren't. I have copies of their documents, stamped "cancelled" by the government.
If you accept that non-citizens have no right to due process, you are accepting that citizens have no right to due process. All the government has to do is claim that you are not a citizen; without due process you have no chance to prove the contrary.
