Some news: tomorrow at 9am, Ted Koppel + CBS Sunday Morning will air a two-part story on the devastating surge of full-time workers being pushed into homelessness.

I'll be interviewed along with two families from There Is No Place for Us. It would mean a lot if you'd watch and help spread the word.

What a photograph.

“Nearly two dozen arrested as faith leaders protested outside a federal immigration facility near Chicago…”

Arrested large amounts of peaceful clergy face first on pavement is a pretty good sign you’re not the good guys in the story. www.reuters.com/legal/govern...

“Weaponizing the DOJ” takes on a whole new level when you order investigations in order to reopen it so it’s no longer closed and you can claim you can’t release information because it’s an “ongoing investigation”

There will be another 60 vote Friday* on the garbage shutdown deal. If we can convince just one Senator from the 52 republicans and 8 Dems that voted yes to flip, we could still stop this. Please jump on the phone today, call them, and share this widely.

*If all goes by the regular schedule

"I'll have a plan" turned into "here's some dollars, go figure it out"
Trump doesn't even have a concept of a plan. So to take away what people have now and let it increase to levels that people can not afford is crazy. And then to not have a replacement plan ready is even crazier.

Day #296 of the ClusterTrump

40+ days! U.S. needs this. In ANY private job, they would have been fired! The LEAST they can do is work while getting paid with full benefits and lifetime free healthcare!

Listen Kaine, Hassan, King, Cortez-Masto, Durbin, Shaheen, Rosen, and Fetterman. You're NOT gonna take away my 2025 election joy. We voted in that election for folks to FIGHT for us. That doesn't include YOU.

YOU are what we voted AGAINST last Tuesday. So I'm gonna hang on to that.

In response to this claim that the "strategy didn't work."

The people were on our side. We were building momentum to help save our democracy. We could have won - the premium increase notices were just starting.

And giving in now will embolden him. Things will likely get worse.
