If normies knew the extent of damage to the US science ecosystem they would be horrified. NSF, NIH, NASA, NOAA, even the fucking NIST, all gutted, the damage won't be reversed in my lifetime.

Not a techie, but if you know someone who's good at that sort of thing, you shouldn't send it to them because they could get into trouble if they did something, and that would be bad. #justsaying

I read it earlier and didn't get that impression. Lot of safety concerns over the speeds these can reach, and inconsistent regulations and policies for their use.
