There’s a real problem with solid waste in Indian Country. This spans not only your municipal wastes, but all wastes that aren’t hazardous ie oil and gas exploration waste, mining wastes, etc. Currently EPA has not authority to regulate SW in Indian Country, and neither do states.

I see so many people blaming whomever for the election of Donald Trump, but in my eyes the fault is clearly at the feet of the average American citizen. We’ll never have good governance with a bad citizenry. We have to do better to educate and move away from the individualist mindset we’re stuck in.

Who knew trains were so effective and pleasant? Oh, most the world. It’s crazy how much the typical American is afraid of a robust national train system.

Ah Veterans Day, it’s a mixed bag for me. On one hand I wanna celebrate the service of people who dedicated so much time and pain to serving our country. Did you know that oil and gas waste is excluded from ever being a hazardous waste!? Regardless of toxicity it can never be legally hazardous. This is a massive subsidy for the O&G industry and a real problem for the parts of the country that produce it. #O&G
