You did it! Thank you for voting. Democrat Catelin Drey has flipped an open Iowa state Senate seat, raise a glass! This victory means Republicans no longer hold a supermajority in Iowa.

Wow. Just wow.
Trump’s “pass” is an admission of what we’ve all been saying: the economy needs migrant workers, It always has. But instead of rights or reform, he’s going to “create”..a work visa? You mean the thing that already exists? And “legal” or “illegal” doesn’t matter? How about that.

The Supreme Court is corrupt — but Congress is broken too. What can WE do?

🔥 Protest outside courthouses and justices’ homes until they hear us
🔍 Expose their conflicts of interest and ethical scandals
🎨 Use art, media, and storytelling to build a culture that rejects corruption and demands justice

“That would never happen” is what people say when they don’t realize the only reason “that never happens” is because their sense of normalcy relies on invisible systems, held together by people working nonstop to prevent “that”. That’s why the visible “thats” now are so alarming.

Right now, Republicans in Congress are trying to push through a bill that would put millions of Americans at risk of losing their health care.

They want to cut federal funding for Medicaid, take away tax credits that help more people afford coverage, and raise costs for working class families.

Having to pay back wages to workers you unlawfully fired—while creating chaos in agencies that now need fixing—is literally the exact opposite of efficiency.

Government is not a business, and should not be run like a business. Most businesses fail in their first year anyways.

Govts serve the populace, which isn't what businesses do, because business wants profits. The govt doesn't need profits, it needs healthy people and social stability.
