do you think my audio posts would do well on youtube shorts... or would they eat me alive? would my last living memory be the vision of hundreds of tens of youtube users looking down on me with hungry eyes—eyes always eating but never full? would I fall into unconsciousness as they tear me asunder sloppy-style, the darkness intruding on all sides in a 9:16 aspect ratio? yeah they'd kill me for SURE. I can see it all happening up here in the ol' "mind's eye." it would end with a firstnamebunchofnumbers pecking out my liver while I spit out my last words: "goodbye cruel world, you were low-key boring but the coke and mentos thing was pretty cool." and then I'd be dead. full stop. I can't write any more of this post because there's nothing after you die. I got suspended from the cooking discord I'm low-key at war with because I was insufficiently nice to someone who was waxing righteous about choosing not to eat pigs. "they are sensitive and intelligent and have friends that they recognize". oh? I have terrible news about chickens and cows, then.

where are you getting that from? bsky says it doesn't, which, fine if you don't believe them, but "I think they're lying about this" is a different problem than "algorithmic tools are innately cursed". and hive.ai lists generative tools and moderation tools separately on their website.

presumably numerous entities are scraping the bsky firehose for training data because that's just how we live now, but the thing that makes fewer humans have to look for child sexual abuse material and similarly illegal content is not the problem
