Empathetic, lover of poetry, all books, and the love of my life - Mr. Bobis. Mother of MJ, yiayia to Justice, mother-in-love to Valerie and I really miss northern California and my siblings: Michele and Samuel and their loved ones and families.
When we protested the Vietnam War we weren't considered pro-Vietnamese. So why are people against the war in Gaza labeled as pro-Palestinian? Is it just another way to gin up hatred for those who might think differently?

I have a question:
1) Am I the only one who remembers the Russian oligarchs sending their mistresses to Florida to have their children in #45*'s administration?

Protects the law, defends his crew

When ALL cowards fail and hide

The other wants a badge to bend the rules
Spread fear & lies to serve the FOOL

I’m going to put my rich guy hat on and say I hope that Mexico and Canada issue equal, retaliatory tariffs and stick to them for an extended period.

I apologize to all the people it will cost money and the businesses it will hurt.

But it’s the only way for tariffs to be seen for what they are

The man was bewildered and ashamed. This is an example of why Socrates was a great philosopher and held in such high esteem.

It also explains why Socrates never found out that Diogenes was banging his wife.

The man shrugged, a little embarrassed. Socrates continued, "You may still pass the test though because there is a third filter, the filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about Diogenes going to be useful to me?"

"No, not really."

"No," the man said, "Actually I just heard about it."

"All right," said Socrates, "So you don't really know if it's true or not. Now let's try the second filter, the filter of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about Diogenes something good?"

"That's right," Socrates continued, "Before you talk to me about Diogenes let's take a moment to filter what you're going to say. The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?"
