We would like to thank Kristi Noem for bringing cameras with her everywhere and collecting evidence for her future trial at The Hague.

Deputy Leader of the Party is a full time job. 1 person can't do it while being a Minister & Minister of Education should be a full time job. To try to do both is to take neither seriously

Vote for Lucy Powell, a strong independent woman who
won't be afraid to voice MPs' views to the PM & the govt

🌹I’m voting @lucympowell.bsky.social for Deputy Leader,
an independent voice who’ll say it like it is, and make sure we win and deliver by listening to all parts of the Labour movement.

I’ve known and worked with Lucy for nearly 15 years now - she’s honest, grounded and focused on us winning.

It’s a sad (and chilling) day when legacy media cannot be trusted to follow even the most basic tenets of journalism.

But when one of the world’s most influential and ubiquitous news sources uses a photo from the 1992 LA uprisings to characterize events in 2025 Portland, we’re at that point

Sadly, there is a type of youth who, especially when drunk, will use Farage&Co to justify kicking the shit out of anyone slightly darker than they are.
Why?
Because they like kicking the shit out of weaker people.
I could make excuses - boredom, deprivation etc
but I don't feel nice tonight.
Thugs.

"15 years ago, Polish workers came here to find opportunity. Now Poland is growing twice as fast as we are," says Kemi Badenoch.

Any ideas what may have happened in the interim?

Lucy is a strong, independent woman with loads of experience. She will devote her full attention to the job. She will listen to the members & not be afraid to voice their views to the PM & Cabinet.
She is what the Party needs.
And, unlike Phillipson, she didn't indulge in negative campaigning.

I’m backing the brilliant @lucympowell.bsky.social for Deputy Leader of the Labour Party.

Independent from Government and collective responsibility she will give all members a powerful voice in this important role and will fearlessly speak truth to power without fear or favour

Brilliant. It taught me how to think and how to read properly rather than skim.
It made me want to learn more.
All of which is what university should teach you.
Added to that I had a tremendous social life and made lifelong friends one of whom I married.

It was inevitable that “too many people speaking Polish” Brexitism would become outright “too many brown people”

And it’s what people like Gove, David Davis and Johnson enabled

It's not 'our' media, that's why.
Print media serves its owners as do the commercial TV companies.
We should be able to rely on Public Service Broadcasting, but management at the BBC is full of people with strong ties to the Tories.
OffCom should be sorting this out, but it is supine, possibly dead

Our media lets us down badly :

Labours accomplishments - rarely mentioned

Nigel Farage’s house - dropped/ignored

Nathan Gill’s admission of working for Russia - zilch

Russia/Iran funding Reform/Farage - silence

Instead they spread lies on the Budget/MPs/anything to discredit Labour

Why????

BBC News currently showing what looks like an interesting report, but the subtitles are underneath the banner for most of it. Does anyone from the control room keep an eye on what *actually* goes out?
amandagillender.bsky.social
It was Badenoch! That explains everything.
Somehow I don't think Badenoch believes one should go to university to expand one's mind.
It is quite obvious that learning is a concept that has passed her by.
People like her get 'qualifications'.
Plebs get trained.

What would Jenrick know this?
He lives in Herefordshire & represents Newark both over 96% white.
I don't know about Handsworth, but he should look around his manor house in beautiful white Hereford.
Leominster Ridgemoor, less than 5 miles away, is one of the 10% most deprived wards in England.

Unity of purpose comes not from command and control but by taking people with us & winning the argument.

As a full time Deputy Leader I will tell a stronger story about what Labour is for, whose side we’re on, the good things that we are doing.

Really?
Presumably they didn't study English, themselves.
I'm aware that degrees differ from university to university.
My course included compulsory Anglo Saxon, Middle English, Shakespeare; optional Metaphysical Poetry,
the novel & linguistics.
Also required subs in Latin & French.
Some rip-off!

'Fair & reasonable comments'
No.
There is no way that Jenrick's comments could be described as fair or reasonable.

But contrary to what Jenrick said, the reporter was prepared to debate.

And yet Jenrick has chosen to live in Herefordshire & represents Newark both over 96% white.
White ghettoes?

Jesus wept!
Just let us have our own real life experiences.
The thought of living my life through an algorithm designed by Musk based on his idea of life experiences, is abhorrent.

Who does Jenrick class as migrants?
Those who are not native born & native reared?

Hang on a minute, who do we have here?
Michal Berkner,an Israeli-born & US-educated corporate lawyer who practises mainly in London.
Does he want to take the country back from her?
I doubt it. She's white & his wife.
