I ordered a new game controller for my PC because this is what my current one looks like. The worst part is that the left bumper doesn't work anymore. I've somehow made it through years of games without a parry button.

I'm rereading We Know The Devil as inspiration for Infernals in Exalted. It's a one hour visual novel released over a decade ago, so I was surprised to see they had an update as recent as a month ago.

And what does that update say? I'll let perfection speak for itself.😍

This is Caspian, a hedgehog plushie I bought for my boyfriend. I added the sunglasses. He is a polite little guy, obsessed with Sonic.

My boyfriend watched the first two Sonic movies with Caspian in his lap. Then we went to see the third, but he forgot the plushie! I teased him later about it.

A mock excerpt from a fictitious catalogue, made to appear as though it originated in the Victorian Era. It offers pianos and organs for sale. Toward the end of the description of the products, it reads as follows. "For full particulars and BIG FREE CAT-" A reader may be confused by that cut off and think this advertisement is offering a way to get a big free cat. The next line makes it clear that this was just a hyphenated "BIG FREE CATALOGUE".

Real talk: rather than good, evil, or "what I would do" playthroughs, I prefer "what is going to give me the most interesting result?" playthroughs.

After 11 hours of playing, I've finally beaten Balatro! That is to say, I've won on a run. This game is mesmerizing. I can lose hours on it just thinking through the combinations.

Ha, yeah, feels about right. Honestly, I always find these tests a little "off" for me. I do some kinky stuff IRL, but I prefer expressing myself through ERP. However, this test (to some extent) and another one feel like they assume you're doing stuff IRL, so a lot of my answers are "kinda I guess?"

Favorite video games of 1998?

Contrail's "Legend of Legaia" (9/10) has one of my favorite apocalyptic worlds and an AMAZING combat system.

Square's "Xenogears" (8/10) has a somewhat similar combat system, PLUS MECHS, and a sprawling story with a lot of amazing moments.
