Of all the forges I’ve assembled this one has fought me the most for control. Certainly it’s had the most complex set of psychosocial/environmental variables but a forced air brickpile is a hair(dryer)’s brea(d)th from a campfire. 🤷♀️ Only took a YEAR to dial it in, just in time to return to the US 🤦♀️

I feel like I’m tunneling up into myself this week getting ready to travel into so many major unknowns. My ego feels dizzy/tender with a kind of liquifying compression. Feel like I’m wearing my heart like a sleeping bag, hopping around Lowly Worm style, bein reckless in goose down on main. 🪿

I have just watched Severance up to s2e2 and there is some part of me that has never forgiven the portion of my life lost to Lost that is so so mad right now y’all, I’m probably gonna have to call it quits here or idk what she’ll do to me - probably a lot of punitive yoga.

I sleep in a mosquito net, but i keep waking up with bites, and that has led to a certain degree of paranoia, so I can’t tell you what a relief it is to wake up and find a praying mantis as long as my hand in here this morning that wasn’t last night - I’m not the problem, it’s bigger than me.

I just watched a potter wasp Cask of Amontillado a twitching caterpillar into her nest as perfunctorily as a sleeping bag into a stuff sack. The more I learn about wasps, the more certain I become that the Alien franchise is just a long “what if wasps were big” thought experiment.
