Incredibly alarming—after the whole ridiculous antifa roundtable at the White House, as Mark was moving with his family to Europe after threats…

Extremely proud of my former coworkers as they continue to advocate for the pay and respect they deserve

Since we last shared an update on bargaining, we’ve received additional information about management salaries at Rewire.

The TLDR: The pay discrepancy between management and union members is deeply unsettling.

I’ve received multiple death threats + doxing (including my home address) directly following harassment from Turning Point USA, Jack Posobiec, Andy NGO, + Fox News which called me an antifa ‘financier.’

I have been forced to move my classes online.

If journalists want to talk, DM me or reply here.

Despite Trump's claims, data shows that right-wing extremists are far more violent than those on the left.

And the origins of today's far-right insurrectionism lie in the anti-abortion movement.

"What might be more surprising is how closely Trump’s view of the prerogatives and entitlements of abusive husbands towards their abused wives mirror his own sense of his prerogatives and entitlements as president towards his abused country."

Final update: I got a shot at a different CVS in MA today after being turned away from the first. If you live here I recommend calling the pharmacy first, even if you’re able to get an appointment.

lol thank you for accompanying me on this saga.

UPDATE AGAIN: After getting turned away at the first CVS, I was able to get my Covid shot at a different CVS in Boston.

So it seems…widespread confusion! But shots are indeed happening in MA. I recommend calling the pharmacy first.

I deleted my original post on Covid shots in MA because I didn’t want to spread misinformation.

I was able to book a Covid vaccine appt at CVS in Boston this morning but when I got there they said they couldn’t give me the shot.

UPDATE: Despite letting me make an appointment online, the pharmacist at CVS just informed me that they are NOT offering Covid shots in MA rn.

Get it together, Massachusetts!

"I really don’t believe that anyone who claims to care about our most basic rights here in the US can ignore this existential moral issue of our lives, which is the genocide that Israel is perpetrating in Palestine."

Early in the book it was really important for me to present reproductive justice as this international framework of demanding that all of us can parent or not parent in safe, healthy environments. It is fundamentally inseparable from the work of reproductive rights advocates in the United States when this is what our tax dollars are funding. It’s so simple that reproductive justice and bodily autonomy are impossible under genocide and under apartheid and starvation conditions that the United States has very much been facilitating.

"The reality remains that under patriarchy and under rape culture and under abortion bans, all survivors and all abortion seekers are dehumanized and denied agency by their abuser or by the state," Kylie Cheung tells @amylittlefield.bsky.social in a new Q&A.
A New Era of Reproductive Coercion: A Conversation With Kylie Cheung
The author’s new book explores how the Dobbs decision “created new avenues through which the state and abusive figures can collaboratively punish and control their victims.”

New research shows Idaho lost one in three obstetricians after its abortion ban took effect

About half of those OBs left the state—and none moved to states with abortion bans, the lead author says.

More evidence that abortion bans impact other forms of health care. New @motherjones.com:

What Would It Mean to Defend All Abortions?
Democrats love to avoid it, and Republicans love to lie about it. But later-abortion care has never been more important.

NEW: A JAMA study finds that "between August 2022 and December 2024 ... Idaho lost 94 of the 268 OBGYN physicians practicing obstetrics."

Just 20 new OBGYNs moved to Idaho in that time, "and 114 of the 268 baseline obstetricians" stopped practicing, left the state, or retired.
