Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

I don't know what the Senate is going to do. But if they do in fact fold in exchange for nothing, they will be living up to past performance. To expect the Senate to carry out the will of the American people is to misunderstand why it was created in the first place.

If you don’t want Udoka to run so much zone you need to answer the question of how to stop teams from hunting Reed on every possession and breaking down the defense that way.
A) Don’t play Reed
B) Shade the defense to cover for him and open holes elsewhere.

I would normally have zero interest in who won the NYC Mayoral election but the hysterical, over-the-top reaction to Mamdani by the media, the billionaire class, the GOP, and many establishment Democrats has turned me into an enthusiastic Mamdani supporter.

He'd be a good Governor for Texas and a massive improvement over Greg Abott. I wouldn't worry about him distancing himself from the party; that's just what anyone running in a statewide race in Texas will need to do.
