More he didn't think it was fair he had to exercise so much while the cats were curled up on their cat tree. But the cats weren't the ones driving everyone nuts acting out due to having too much energy.

My pharmacy reports there's another Adderal shortage.

My options right this second are make a bunch of probably futile phone calls despite my phone phobia or come to terms now with not being able to think next week.

No worries. Thinking is optional in US society. Discouraged even.

And, yeah, I'm still having to deal with the comments that trigger that. BUT the people following me don't. So if someone ever does respond with something harmful to my followers, I'll be able to protect them even if I don't see the post immediately.

By auto-mod zealousness, I'm referencing the number of times the system has pinged me for 'you say people can follow you, but did you mean people like THIS?' and 'Not sure you want this comment? approve/deny' So far the answer's only been no once, but it was the type of bot I get here regularly.

Not to dwell too much on this, but... The last two posts on Mastodon actually contained a decent description of my book and allowed me to correct the typo on the dog photo...

As I've admitted, there's no quoting yet and I wish there was. But otherwise I kinda prefer it over there.

But in terms of who I'm LIKELY to give Bk 3 to... I dunno. They need to not just be interesting and ready for something Big Romance to happen but interact well with what the series plot will be doing.

Kiyli the foxkin journalist / ski instructor wants the promotion to lead. She may get it.

Um... So Bex was secondary cast in Book 1 but takes lead in Bk 2. Her co-leads were triciary in the first book.

The current secondaries most itching to take over a book would be Yves's kids. They would be great if I wanted to jump back to YA.

Mastodon isn't perfect. Mastodon.social has plenty of asshats it should mod better but is such a popular instance that most don't feel they can block the entire thing. (But blocking poorly moderated or hostile instances IS a thing that happens.)

And blocking individuals works like here.

I set up a new Mastodon account on a cute LGBTQIA+ themed server that's open for registration if you're interested. (I found 95% of what held me back from Mastodon originally was not knowing which instance to join.)

It's sunny and 60F on my mountain. I was forced to leave my house despite the crap weather and am now very grumpy.

(SPOILER) So when Barnie's fearscape had his grandmother animated as speaking but silent, I heard MY grandmother attacking. And when Barnie explained it wasn't so much being afraid of his grandmother's toxicity but of his parents never having his back enough to intervene, I lost it.

Techinically, my grandmother never said abusive things about me being agender. I never told her I was. But the constant stream of, "Why can't you be the sweet, pretty little girl you used to be?" was neverending. The theme of me being horrible for defying her expectations only ended when she died.

Ep 3 explores 1 lead's autism flavored anxiety and continues an ongoing exploration of the other's relationship with his verbally abusive, transphobic grandmother. I was both of these kids. Could probably have handled one of these things being laid out, but both? Kept crying well after the episode.

Musk says to boycott Netflix over a show. I take this as an endoresement of said show and start watching it.

Dead End: Paranormal Park is a cute horror themed cartoon. That had me sobbing 3 episodes in over how accurately it bared core parts of me.
