If we want to preserve democracy then we must destroy tax havens. They are parasites sucking wealth out of democracies, freeing the super-rich from taxation while imposing ever greater burdens on ordinary folk – burdens which will ultimately break democracy.

Rachel Reeves says on Laura Kuenssberg that she's asking working people to pay a little bit more.

This was all under the cover of a made up "black hole" whilst refusing to tax the super rich.

This Labour Government showing again exactly who they are and who they serve.

At simultaneous green junctions, all cars get a red while all cyclists get green in every direction at once. Straight, left, right, even diagonals. By separating bikes and motor traffic into different phases, this design cuts collision risk while also improving capacity and reducing waiting times.

One big thing weakening the Brexit debate is that many Remainers are still holding out for a grovelling apology from Leavers, and take every opportunity to mock their stupidity.

Even people who have changed their minds will push back HARD against being called stupid.

Play the ball not the players.

The questions posed by Richard in the article are the questions we should all ask every politician. The issues of our state occur in their entirety because of the choice of monetary flow in our country. A system designed and promoted for routing money directly to the shitelites.

When families can’t afford to feed their children, societies break down

Climate change is slow enough to ignore, but fast enough to insidiously overwhelm

What seems to be missing is political will to move at emergency speed.

Our cities plan parking around peak usage and plan roads for rush hour, so they certainly believe in judging a transportation system by how well it works at its worst.

This is a post about winter sidewalk and bike lane maintenance.
