I've also been very, very busy all summer renovating my house. It started with NEEDING some work done after a bad storm in May. It ended with finding a fantastic contractor and "a few things inside" turned into a house decluttering and EVERY room having work done, some major, some just a refresh.

Had a great trip to Minnesota this week with @ahab.bsky.social to see... another friend who I guess she's not on Bluesky? Relaxed a bunch, shopped, saw some museums, watched shows together, went to see a live Wits show! Good food, good friends!<3

But anyway, tonight was the finale to the D&D5e game I started DMing at work in April, 2017. We played til the end of the year, when the company fell apart.
We thought it was over at level 6 for 2 years and 4 months.
Then March, 2020 happened. We reconnected. We decided to game again.

Tiny newski tip: If content scrapers or accounts following like 20k and up accounts follow you: just block them. The daily whatever pics are all stolen and the accounts exist to eventually be flipped for not-good uses. Block and move on.

1. Wednesday PF2e game kept exploring the Gauntlight Ruins, ran into the Mitflit King & made a bargain, after a lengthy argument between the bard and monk while our ranger just explored successfully. Didn't play this week, hoping for next week!

Congrats to my D&D5e Party for killing a Tarrasque + 16th level Druid, and levelling up to 18th. Their final level up in this campaign. (For now. We'll revisit for oneshots in a year and two to get them to 20th.)

I am trying to finish up my current playthroughs of Mass Effect 3 and the storyline of Star Trek Online before Baldur's Gate 3 comes out because when BG3 releases uhhh.. Goodbye everything else.

Wednesday night Pathfinder 2e game this week: The party made a deal with a ghost to show his Grandmother's sword some adventure, met a totally legitimate traveling salesman, and then they finally made it to the Gauntlight Ruins!

Last night in TTRPG news (D&D5e), my 17th level party took on a slightly toned down Tarrasque, but with an added ranged attack + regeneration, who was also being aided by a 16th level Druid, so, really not all that toned down at all. We used this awesome phased battlemap by Balatro.
