A majority of Americans seem to believe that the ends justify the means - they told NYT/Siena that Trump is "mostly" deporting the right people, even if the process is "unfair."

The racism is patently obvious.

NYT reports that only TWO of the 98 Senate-confirmed senior officials in the Trump administration are Black. At the same time, Trump has systematically purged women and people of color from top jobs.

After 30 years of publication, the U.S. Department of Agriculture abruptly canceled its annual report on the prevalence of hunger in America. The USDA’s press release condemned the report as “politicized,” “subjective, liberal fodder” that did “nothing more than fear monger.”

Trump does not have the legal authority to use tariff revenue as a slush fund he can deploy to avoid backlash against his policies.

The tariffs could also be declared unconstitutional, in which case the govt would owe refunds.
