Happy Jólabókaflóð! This Icelandic tradition–literally, the “Christmas Book Flood”–is celebrated by giving books as gifts and then reading together! This custom began after WWII, when paper was one of the only non-rationed commodities, making books the preferred Christmas gift 🎄📚☕️
