That's awesome! How long has the sign been there? I went to Australia in 2023 (from the US) and visited Minnamurra! We saw a few lyrebirds ❤️

I used a few photos of my own as references. This was meant to be an exploratory or practice piece since I'd never tried watercolor on black paper before, and then I loved how it turned out so much that I made it a full piece. I'm not good at not making finished pieces 😅

Oh, I don't have enough upside down bird art for a whole month of posting, though that would be really fun! I just decided to follow up my yesterday's upside down crossbills with another upside down bird I painted this year 😊
