Hello! I'm Livi, a freelance localization editor who's worked on mostly Nihon Falcom titles such as Trails through Daybreak and on Tokyo Xanadu eX+, plus some other stuff.

I think about how it's been 10 months and I don't actually do this. I use it to...play on my desk while working. On my PC.
New acquisition :) So I can play games on my couch, 5 feet away from my PC.

I have to say, despite the fact that I ain't gonna be too eager to pick the game up again anytime soon (gameplay icky), Fatal Frame 3's story is gonna stick with me way, WAY more than that of Fatal Frame 1 and 2.
119. Fatal Frame III: The Tormented
Absolutely beautiful. I think this is the best story out of the PS2 trilogy, with a touching story about learning to live on even through grief and loss. The gameplay's not quite my cup of tea for many reasons, but the story more than picks up the slack.

The PS2 truly is the best console ever because it is constantly becoming more powerful. Each time we say something "looks like a PS2 game" we're talking about a game of a higher fidelity than the last. What the PS2 is capable of in 2025 is so far beyond what it was capable of in 2003. That's amazing
