Every idiot who can read a poll knows that if you wanted to beat Reform, you would put in place a fairly radical social democratic programme. But that isn't their priority. Their priority is is demonstrating loyalty to the City, Wall Street, Silicon Valley at all costs (2/2).

Basically, any politico who tells you they are patriot and a serious individual should be asked “would you implode your career and your party now to save the UK from an economic and social firestorm that’s already raging and will only get worse” and watch them squirm

Lift any rock in the UK economy that doesn’t make sense and you’ll find Thatcher and the decades of privatisation that followed. They sold our futures for a quick buck and that’s cliche as shit hit unfortunately that’s just it. No government as it stands will ever deal with that because lol.

Same with housing, actually. They’ll never tackle house prices because any reduction would hit paper millionaire pensioners and homeowners who were told to leverage debt against their massively inflated assets. The whole economy is just a house of cards that requires debt and inflation to stay alive
