Ghost, my husker(husky). Ghost has very blue eyes . Laying underneath my arm. he's got a white face and classic husker coloring. the gray fur across his upper half blends with black and white fur giving his white face an outline just above his eyebrows. he has white legs and you can see the scar on my left arm peeking out. Ghost the husky looking up into the camera deciding for once to be still and let me film him. his long boney legs and his wolf chest are in the unfocused part of the image. Dean my boxer and Ghost. both caught being lovers. I'm pretty sure a second before this picture Ghost had Dean's entire head in his mouth. and the look he's giving is very... sir this doesn't concern you move along. with Dean kinda giving the same. Dean has red fur a black mask with a white stripe between his eyes that extends into a band across his muzzle. black nose and mouth and black around his eyes. he has uncut ears and tail, white socks and cow spotting with white and red on his chest. uh not that it needs to be here. his little Dean pp fur is white and red. and stands out. lol. Dean is reaching for Ghost putting his paw on Ghost. Dean and Ghost mimicking what Sam and Dean do. both in this image are curled up, butt to butt. Dean is crashed out. Ghost caught me and is glaring at me for bothering them.

Bio luminescent petunias. firefly petunias they're called. I grabbed 6. let's see how they grow. they're supposed to glow at night. I'm excited.
six bio luminescent petunias in two large plastic barrel looking pots on my patio. putting local potting soil in and sphagnum moss on top to hopefully keep a bit of moisture in. supposedly, the petunias will glow green at night. I'll update as we see.

I turn 37 in ten minutes. I'm really grateful to be somehow still alive and to have my 3 beans, my love, a newly found hobby, and most surprisingly, a fun new job. Things are so crazy on a large scale. I'm really quite happy they're so nice on the small scale. Which kinda makes it my large scale.Yay

Two loaves of freshly baked cinnamon swirl raisin bread cooling on wire racks. You can see the bread and butter knife and butter warming to room temp for cookies later. And the edge of the only scissors I could find. Alternate angle of the two cooling loaves. This angle shows the exposed cinnamon swirl on one loaf. I don't like how the first and last slice have no swirl, so I'm trying to fix it.

Scrambled eggs, bacon, and the homemade cinnamon swirl raisin bread turned French toast. Displayed on the plate with butter pads on the toast and syrup, the fork is on the plate as it cools while I swipe.

Fresh baked cinnamon swirl raisin bread. This variation on a standard raisin bread recipe I deviated and used wheat(1 cup), bread(1 cup), and all-purpose flour(3 cups and ½ cup for surface dusting). A pinch(¼ teaspoon) of corn starch, cardamom, nutmeg(⅛ teaspoon on this guy), and vanilla bean paste. I used honey(¼ cup)for the yeast feeder and dissolved it into warm water with milk in it (2 cups of water, ½ cup milk). I used oil and butter crisco (1 tablespoon each) in the dough and crisco to grease the pans. I used sugar and ground cinnamon sticks with butter to do the swirl and crust dusting. I used the oven warmed to 180 and then turned off to rise both times. And obviously 2 cups of raisins. I think that's all. Homemade cinnamon swirl raisin bread cross section. Showing a couple of slices and loaf on the foil wrapper to reveal the swirl. I'm going to make French toast. The bread knife and cooling trays are visible

So y'all do bread...me too. I'm a sparky from Arizona. I make bread. Amongst a plethora of things. I hope you like bread. Because yeast rises like the sun for me. I know the difference between active dry & instant, but I am working my way through the alchemy of balancing with baking soda. #breadsky

It's alive!!!! I baked my first 🍞! Woooo, and one came out halfway decent. And the other... well, it is still technically bread! Yaaay bread.
