In the spur of the moment, I'll be lacing up my running shoes and hitting the streets for the Cork City Marathon.

This year, I've chosen to raise funds for UNICEF, who work to protect children in the most dangerous places on Earth — children who need our aid today more than any other day. 🇺🇳

Israel prides itself on its forensic military intelligence when targeting Gaza.

Singling out a doctor’s home, a paediatrician, and killing nine out of her ten children comes across as a deliberate act. www.bbc.com/news/article...

In an impassioned speech to the Seanad, Tom Clonan stated that throughout his time as a peacekeeper and later as a security analyst who speaks at international conferences, no one ever told him that this country’s military neutrality posed a problem.

Only an emboldened psychopath could look at Gaza -the devastation, anguish of civilians- of children, of burn victims, starvation, dying babies, child amputees- in short the immeasurable suffering - and think what “great real estate”! Trump & Kushner are without humanity

Go raibh maith agat Maria O'Flaherty agus Nuacht TG4 as an tuairisc seo agus as a ábharthacht chomhaimseartha a aithint.

Today, our position of neutrality has evolved. We're militarily neutral, but can never be politically neutral when it comes to international wrongs.

Trading car space for green space, bike space, kid space…trading pollution for people. Good trade.
Es alucinante cómo ha bajado la contaminación en París en 15 años. Anne Hidalgo lo ha llenado todo de carriles bici y no sólo ha reducido la contaminación en un 40%, sino que ha sido reelegida.
