I think my biggest takeaway as a dm was that I should never run content that Im not super passionate about. I ran modules but they were never mine. My homebrew was so much funner.

Just in case anyone out there feels like they shouldn’t post art - please do. The constant bullshit from the news is difficult but we can’t allow all of that to stop us from making art and sharing it. That’s all I have to say rn - am planning to enjoy the rest of my weekend working on sketches.

Not to knock new year's resolutions, but what I want in the new year is to read more, write more, and play more all in moderation. Im happy to go with the flow and just enjoy the little things.

ngl i really miss the old internet. i feel like it was more social and chill back then. it feels much more fragmented and less adventurous now, but maybe that's my own burned bridges speaking.

It's so uncanny playing a next gen aaa game from 20 years ago. it'll pan to an expansive landscape shot with uplifting orchestral music and people that look like goddamned potatoes.

I still love dnd, but there's no better feeling that hitting stupidly high numbers as a fighter in pathfinder. my dm gave me a weapon thats too powerful for out level, but I'm not complaining.

It's so cool to me that cave systems all have their own unique ecosystems and unique species. Some species live in just a few pools of water.

i switched to debian when i put together a new pc and it's surprisingly usable. i went into it thinking i'd just switch back if it was a hassle, but there hasn't been any big problems. (aside from mods. i'm gonna need a phd for that.)

i am so lucky i built my new pc before ram prices went ever further though the roof. ai continues to be a pain in my rear even when ive never used it lol
